Guide: Buying Rally.io Coins with Various Payment Options

Purpose

Learn how to purchase the Creator Coin of your choice on the Rally.io platform.

Prerequisites

• A Rally.io account

• A payment option from the following:

  • Debit or Credit: $500 limit per transaction

  • Cryptocurrency: A variety of options to convert cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc to Creator Coin via Coinbase Commerce. No limit.

  • Convert from $RLY. No limit.

Buying with Debit or Credit Card

1. Log in to your Rally.io account.

2. Go to the creator coin page for the coin you want to purchase.

3. Click Buy.

4. Choose Debit or Credit Card.

5. Complete the transaction to enter your credit card details. A credit card processing fee (around 5%) will be added to the transaction total.

If paying with Credit/Debit, there is a $500 per-transaction limit. For larger purchases, you may wish to use the Buying with Cryptocurrency payment option, or follow the steps for Buying with $RLY.

Buying with Cryptocurrency

There is no limit to the amount of a Coin you want to buy when using the Buy > Cryptocurrency option. You must already own the cryptocurrency you want to convert to Coin.

1. Log in to your Rally.io account.
2. Go to the Coin page for the coin you want to purchase.

3. Click Buy.

4. Choose Cryptocurrency.

5. Type the amount in USD value that you want to purchase of the selected Coin.

6. Click Next in the confirmation step. (The "Make username public" option is only used for alerts if they Creator uses an alert system like Streamlabs or Stream Elements.)

7. You are presented with two options from which to choose:

   1. Pay with Coinbase: Click this option to connect to your Coinbase.com account to convert cryptocurrency you hold there to the selected Coin.

   2. Or, select a cryptocurrency: Click one of the listed cryptocurrencies to connect to your Ethereum wallet, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, where you hold the selected cryptocurrency.

8. Complete the transaction.

If paying with cryptocurrency, ensure you have the respective network's main currency to cover transaction fees associated with sending currency/tokens.

Do not send BEP20 tokens (Binance Chain) to the Ethereum payment portal options (ETH, USDC, etc.). Only ETH and ERC20-USDC transactions can be received by the ETH and USDC payment portal. These payments must be made from a wallet on the Ethereum Mainnet.

Buying a Coin with $RLY (aka Convert)

You must have $RLY in your Rally.io Portfolio to use the Convert feature.

If you have $RLY in an Ethereum wallet, you will need to use the Bridge In feature to first move the $RLY to your Rally.io account. See this article on using Bridge In.

If you have $RLY in your Coinbase.com account, you will first need to move that $RLY to an Ethereum wallet, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, and then use Bridge In.

1. Log in to your Rally.io account.
2. Click Trade from the top right of the page, and under Rally Token, click Convert.

3. In the Convert window, click TO > Choose Creator Coin to find and select the Creator Coin you want to purchase.

4. Click Next.

5. Type or select the amount of your $RLY holdings to convert.

6. Click Next and complete the transaction.

If you do not have $RLY on Rally.io, you must either use the Bridge-In feature, or convert a creator coin you own to $RLY

However, the preferred/cheaper route from Crypto to Creator Coin is to purchase Creator Coin with Crypto via the Crypto payment portal.
